Machining details

A glass machinery builder in Guangdong needed replacement guide rail blocks for an edging line. The original parts were worn on the sliding face and the hole pitch had drifted, causing the conveyor to track unevenly.

We machined the sliding face first, then bored all mounting holes in the same clamping so the pitch error stayed under 0.02 mm. POM inserts were added on the contact face to reduce wear against the glass edge.

The first batch of 320 pieces was delivered in 14 working days with a first article inspection report. The customer now places a rolling order every quarter.
